Job Description
About the Opportunity
As Manager, Project Controls, you will lead all project controls activities across the Wyaralong project, working closely with the Project Leadership Team to provide strategic oversight of performance. You will own the integrated baseline programme, cost control, forecasting and risk management, leading a team of project controls professionals and driving governance across planning, scheduling, change and reporting. You will provide direct advice to the Project Director, identify risks and opportunities early, and ensure controls data underpins confident, timely decision-making across the project.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
- Lead the project controls framework, systems and governance
- Own the integrated baseline programme and progress measurement
- Manage cost control, forecasting, cash flow and EAC reporting
- Lead risk, opportunity and change control processes
- Deliver performance reporting and analysis to project leadership
- Lead and develop the project controls team
- Integrate planning, procurement and construction interfaces
Required Skills and Competencies
What capability and experience will you need to have:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field
- Significant experience in project controls leadership on complex infrastructure or EPC projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Excel and reporting platforms such as Power BI
- Strong knowledge of cost management, forecasting, risk and change control
- Experience within water or wastewater infrastructure highly desirable
