ATS is seeking an experienced Production Test Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment. This role is responsible for one or more production areas at our site in Taiwan. You will interface with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment with plenty of challenging opportunities. You will be engaging with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality Team, 3rd party Business partner, Management, and customers to ensure product and test result compliance, continuously improve test function, and meet organizational goals. Your knowledge and experience will be valued and contribute to furthering the success of ATS Production.

The Production Test Engineer will handle the integration of production test and production assembly execution. The Production Test Engineer will be primarily responsible for managing production function verification and meeting ATP criteria, coordinating with team leaders and teams, leading test result improvement and development activities, and implementing functional initiatives.

Onsite: This position will work onsite at our Taiwan base with occasional travel to support other site.

Major Responsibilities but not limited:

  • Chiller Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform Chiller testing, installation, data analysis, and advanced hardware/functional troubleshooting.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and daily operational support for testing equipment.
  • Supplier & Assembly Integration: Partner with Supplier teams to construct and validate all Chiller product series.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with CS, Engineering, and QA teams to resolve technical issues and sustain high quality.
  • Testing & Documentation: Execute manual and automated test cases, debug, log software/hardware defects, and build/maintain standard SOPs/testing documentation.
  • Special Projects: Manage supervisor-assigned initiatives while adhering to strict confidentiality and corporate ethical standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electronic Communications, or related engineering fields.
  • Soft Skills & Leadership: Self-starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team facilitation skills; ability to work independently across global functions.
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical problems clearly through presentations and persuasive communication.
  • Software Tools: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data management and statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Semiconductor Experience: Direct experience in Semiconductor Fabs testing or HW sustainment/maintenance.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, electrical/PLC controls, and power electronics.
  • Certifications: Holds an Electrical Equipment Inspection License (用電設備檢驗執照/乙種電匠等相關證照) or equivalent technical certifications
