About the role

As the In-store Execution & Next Best Action (NBA) Product Manager, you will be accountable for the product strategy, roadmap and value delivery of Haleon's In-store Execution and NBA capabilities.


This role sits within Haleon's Go-To-Market Transformation programme, a strategic multi-year initiative focused on transforming how we engage customers, pharmacies, healthcare professionals and retail partners through digitally enabled commercial capabilities.

In-store Execution & NBA is one of the programme's key transformation areas, enabling field sales representatives, merchandisers and commercial teams to make better decisions during store visits and improve product availability, visibility and sales performance.


The product combines retail execution workflows, image recognition, analytics and AI-powered recommendations to help frontline teams identify opportunities, prioritise actions and improve commercial performance across global markets.


You will sit at the intersection of commercial strategy, field execution, data and AI, delivering technology and data products that support retail execution excellence and Next Best Action recommendations for field teams.


This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to Commercial Leadership and ownership of a strategic capability that directly influences execution quality, sales effectiveness and business outcomes.

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, mentor junior Product Managers and collaborate closely with Commercial, Engineering, Data Science and Design teams to shape how AI and machine learning are embedded into frontline workflows.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, product judgement and data literacy, alongside the ability to balance business value, usability, scalability and long-term product sustainability.


Key responsibilities


Product Vision, Strategy & Alignment

  • Defines the product vision and strategy for In-store Execution & NBA, ensuring alignment to the broader Go-to-Market Transformation strategy & outcomes.
  • Support the definition and tracking of product OKRs and success metrics aligned to improvements in sales effectiveness, retail execution quality and Perfect Store performance.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business goals, customer needs and market opportunities to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to align on priorities and outcomes.
  • Ensures In-store Execution and NBA capabilities are integrated into the wider commercial product ecosystem, including retail execution, sales enablement and analytics solutions.
  • Tracks retail AI/ML trends and the competitive landscape to keep the product strategy relevant and differentiated.

Prioritisation & Roadmap Planning

  • Translate strategic objectives, customer needs / pain points into clearly defined product Initiatives, Features and Epics.
  • Maintain and manage the product backlog, ensuring work is prioritised based on customer value, business impact and strategic goals.
  • Work closely with engineering, design and business stakeholders to balance priorities, capacity and delivery timelines.
  • Lead quarterly planning activities to define and plan the quarterly product increment to be delivered.
  • Communicate product priorities, roadmap updates and trade-offs to relevant stakeholders.

Delivery & Execution

  • Lead the partnership with retail execution vendors to measure shelf performance using image recognition technology, enabling visibility of availability, compliance and execution in stores.
  • Lead the partnership with Technical Services, Data Science and ML Engineering teams to design, build and scale AI-powered recommendation capabilities that help field teams identify the most impactful actions during store visits.
  • Own and manage a complex, cross-functional delivery spanning multiple squads - set priorities that balance short-term execution with long-term platform investment.
  • Lead delivery of product initiatives from discovery through to launch and adoption.
  • Manage dependencies, risks and issues across teams to ensure successful delivery.

Experience & Design

  • Partner with Product Experience and Design teams to deliver effective end-to-end experiences for both external customers (retailers and pharmacies) and internal users (sales representatives and merchandisers).
  • Work with Experience and Design to identify and frame ambiguous, high-stakes business problems (out-of-stocks, planogram compliance, promo execution, distribution gaps) into product strategy, requirements, and success metrics.
  • Use customer insights, feedback and data to inform product decisions and prioritisation.
  • Support the transition of successful concepts and pilots into scalable product capabilities.
  • Ensure requirements and user journeys are clearly understood by delivery teams.

Product Outcome Management & Evaluation

  • Track product performance against agreed OKRs, KPIs and success metrics.
  • Monitor product adoption, usage and business value delivered.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities through data analysis, customer feedback and operational insights.
  • Contribute to reporting on product outcomes and value delivery to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence

  • Serve as the primary product voice to commercial, sales, and category leaders, building alignment and securing investment for the In-store Execution & NBA roadmap.
  • Facilitate alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, dependencies and outcomes to stakeholders.

Product Financial Management & Operations

  • Contribute to business case development for product initiatives and investments.
  • Support budget planning and forecasting activities associated with the product roadmap.
  • Help track investment outcomes and demonstrate value delivered through product initiatives.

Operations, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance, security and privacy requirements are considered throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work with Risk, Compliance and Technical Services teams to ensure products are developed and operated in line with relevant policies and standards.
  • Maintain awareness of applicable regulations and controls, including GDPR, GxP and SOX requirements where relevant.
  • Support vendor and third-party risk assessments and remediation activities.

Product Leadership

  • Demonstrate leadership through ownership, collaboration and delivery excellence.
  • Coach and support junior Product Managers or project team members where appropriate.
  • Champion product management best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong collaboration across business & technology teams.



Your profile

Required

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including significant work on data/analytics or AI-driven products.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional teams including data science/ML engineers, software developers, and design, with demonstrated ownership of a major product line.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data/model outputs into simple, scalable, and adopted product experiences.
  • Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps and success metrics aligned to commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, global and highly matrixed environment.

Preferred

  • Direct experience owning Next Best Action, recommendation engines, or prescriptive analytics products at scale.
  • Background in retail execution, trade promotion management, or field sales enablement tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of the ML model lifecycle (training, deployment, monitoring, retraining) and how it intersects with product strategy and roadmap sequencing.
  • Experience building and scaling mobile or field-facing tools for non-desk workers (reps, merchandisers, store associates).

PLN 300 660,00 - PLN 413 407,50 The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations. Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role.
