We are looking for Procurement Specialist, to join our team in Karshi
The role revolves around delivering measurable cost savings, minimizing supply chain risks, and aligning supplier capabilities with evolving business needs to acquire the best value. A key focus is on driving simplicity and sustainability in procurement practices while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement flawless sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
- Lead category planning and execution to achieve cost reduction, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
- Conduct market research, supplier risk assessments, and sourcing events.
- Lead, manage, and support all procurement activities for goods and services relating to: Production sites, Corporate Services, Opex, Capital, Efficiency Projects, Central Services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.
- Lead, develop, and complete contract negotiations and manage supplier performance through critical metrics and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with internal collaborators to grasp procurement needs and ensure early engagement.
- Share procurement strategies and progress with collaborators and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with country regulations, including taxes, customs, etc.
- Ensure compliance with global and regional procurement policies.
As a Procurement Specialist, you already are or will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, CIPS qualification, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing roles.
- Experience in procurement and sourcing for large industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of SAP and eSourcing and analytical skills required tools is an advantage.
- Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) beneficial.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and collaborator management.
- Analytical approach with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and driven.
- Language skills required – English and Russian/Uzbek.
- Competitive salary (upon agreement after interview) and job conditions
- Salary is paid twice a month in Uzbekistan sums
- Annual performance bonus
- Work schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week (Monday – Friday)
- The workplace is located on the territory of the plant in Karshi, Kashkadarya Region
- When relocating to Karshi a housing allowance is provided to an employee to rentan apartment (the allowance amount depends on the number of employee's family members)
- Assistance with relocation (managing all required migration documents and relocationof the employee and family members to the place of destination)
- Annual leave – 21 calendar days. The company also provides additional leave of 7 calendar days per year
