POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role is responsible for the design, development, qualification, and release of new Power MOSFET products. This role will be carried out either as a leader or member of a cross functional team, or as an individual, ensuring that new products are released to customer / market requirements and to appropriate quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead project teams on activities towards the release of new product families, complex products or technology platforms to timelines defined within project plans.
  • Ensure that new product releases meet manufacturability, reliability, customer and market requirements in collaboration with product marketing, process development, assembly and industrial functions
  • Assist the Product groups by providing technical support with respect to specification and justification of new product developments, answering specific customer technical enquiries and complaints
  • Provide project management and/or technical expertise for the team as consultant across one or many project(s)
  • Develop appropriate levels of knowledge in associated areas of product development work, namely the product release process, systems, project management, product specification, simulation and design.

  • Power MOSFET device structure

  • design process for new products
  • reliability methods, and Failure Modes
  • Design of Experiments
  • Device simulation tools
  • Data analysis and production of clear technical reports
  • Characterization

  • Planning, organising and controlling projects adhering to plans and budgets, as well as reporting on progress
  • Leadership, and role model example to more junior engineers
  • Collaboration with others, either in immediate team or outside R&D
  • Clear communication of progress
  • Time-planning and multi-tasking

  • Mentoring of junior engineers
  • Flexible and proactive approach
  • Considered experienced enough in their field to handle non-standard situations

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


  • Experience required: Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar.
  • 8 years’ experience in semiconductors or related field
