Position Summary:
Zeeco India is seeking an experienced Planning Manager / Planning Lead to lead project planning and controls for the site execution of heavy engineered package equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing integrated project schedules, monitoring execution progress, coordinating multidisciplinary site activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within contractual commitments.
The ideal candidate will possess 10–15 years of experience in EPC project planning and site execution involving industrial package equipment such as flare systems, thermal oxidizers, fired heaters, incinerators, pressure vessels, and similar process equipment.
Work Location:
Project sites across India and overseas, with flexibility to travel extensively based on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and monitor Level 3 and Level 4 integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, incorporating engineering deliverables, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and hook-up activities.
Lead project planning, scheduling, coordination, and progress monitoring for the site execution of heavy engineered package equipment, including Flares, Thermal Oxidizers, Incinerators, Fired Heaters, Pressure Vessels, and other process equipment.
Track project progress against approved baselines through S-curves, earned value analysis (EVM), critical path analysis, look-ahead schedules, and variance reporting, while recommending mitigation and recovery plans to minimize schedule slippages.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure timely availability of drawings, materials, equipment, and site resources in accordance with project milestones.
Plan, monitor, and optimize resource mobilization, including manpower, construction equipment, heavy lifting resources, cranes, and specialized contractors to achieve efficient site execution.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and erection contractors, ensuring execution aligns with the approved project schedule, quality requirements, and contractual milestones.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, management dashboards, recovery schedules, KPI reports, and client progress presentations.
Conduct regular planning and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to review project status, resolve execution challenges, and drive milestone achievement.
Perform schedule risk assessments, delay analysis, productivity monitoring, and forecasting to proactively identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
Manage contractor progress measurement, billing certification support, client and contractor invoice forecasting, cash flow projections, and project completion forecasts.
Review lifting plans, structural erection sequences, temporary works, and construction methodologies to ensure safe and efficient execution of heavy engineered equipment installations.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements during heavy lifting operations, structural steel erection, working at heights, confined space activities, and other critical construction operations.
Collaborate with project management to develop recovery strategies, optimize construction sequencing, and ensure successful achievement of project delivery objectives.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.

10–15 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls for EPC, heavy engineering, industrial manufacturing, or construction projects.

Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating multidisciplinary site execution activities involving heavy engineered equipment, structural steel, piping, mechanical installation, or industrial plant construction.

Strong understanding of EPC project execution, construction sequencing, project controls, resource planning, critical path scheduling, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Experience with combustion, process, or package equipment such as Flare Systems, Thermal Oxidizers, Fired Heaters, Incinerators, Pressure Vessels, Process Skids, or similar engineered equipment will be preferred.
