Job Summary
The Pool Pharmacist ensures medication orders are safe and appropriate; that drugs are stored, prepared, and delivered to patient care areas according to generally accepted professional standards; and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other staff to ensure safe and effective administration and monitoring of medications. Also ensures compliance with relevant state and federal laws and regulations, The Joint Commission medication management standards, and Grady Health System (GHS) policies and procedures.Core Competencies
