This role is designed for clinicians who are passionate about patient-centered care and want the flexibility of PRN scheduling while working within a dynamic, high-acuity healthcare environment.

The Speech-Language Pathologist practices within the scope of the Georgia State Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act, partnering closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans that improve communication, swallowing, and overall functional outcomes.

In this role, you will provide care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan—from neonates to geriatric patients— while supporting departmental coverage and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced clinicians who thrive in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment and are motivated by meaningful patient impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapeutic interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Provide treatment for patients across all age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care plans
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Maintain compliance with Georgia licensure requirements, departmental policies, and quality standards
  • Provide PRN / Pool coverage across assigned service areas to support operational and patient care needs

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Licensed or license-eligible Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Georgia (Georgia license must be obtained by employment start date)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) or more years of experience in a teaching hospital or academic medical center

Why Join Us

  • Flexible PRN / Pool scheduling designed to support work-life balance
  • Opportunity to practice across multiple clinical settings and specialties
  • Exposure to a diverse and medically complex patient population
  • Collaborative, interdisciplinary care model that prioritizes patient outcomes
  • A mission-driven organization committed to serving the community and advancing healthcare excellence
