Ce poste vous offre l’opportunité de développer une expertise technique recherchée dans l’industrie énergétique tout en contribuant concrètement à des projets d’envergure internationale.

Comment vous aurez un impact

• Effectuer des essais électriques sur transformateurs (basse tension, grande puissance et haute tension diélectrique).
• Participer aux essais spécialisés tels que : choc de foudre, tension appliquée CA/CC, décharges partielles, essais de routine et essais de type.
• Préparer et configurer les montages d’essais en respectant les normes de sécurité.
• Effectuer les raccordements de câbles et barres omnibus à courant élevé.
• Surveiller les paramètres critiques et signaler toute anomalie.
• Générer et valider les rapports d’essais via le système TRS.
• Diagnostiquer et résoudre des problématiques techniques (niveau autonome).
• Interpréter les résultats d’essais et communiquer les conclusions techniques aux équipes concernées.
• Agir comme ressource technique et soutenir le développement des collègues (niveau autonome).
• Assurer la conformité aux normes de sécurité, aux standards ISO et aux exigences clients.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de production et de qualité.
• Contribuer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue et à l’entretien des équipements.

Votre parcours

• Le candidat doit déjà avoir une autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada.
• DEC en génie électrique, électronique ou domaine connexe.
• Intérêt marqué pour les essais électriques et la haute tension.
• Entre 1 à 4 ans d’expérience pertinente en essais haute tension pour le niveau autonome.
• Maîtrise des essais sur transformateurs de puissance (niveau autonome).
• Rigueur et grande conscience en matière de sécurité.
• Capacité démontrée en résolution de problèmes techniques complexes.
• Autonomie progressive, leadership technique et esprit d’équipe.

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy and contribute to shaping the future of energy. As a High Voltage Test Operator, you will play a key role in the validation and certification of large power transformers supporting electrical grids worldwide.
Depending on your experience, you may begin at the apprentice level and progressively develop full autonomy in performing high-voltage and dielectric testing operations in a highly specialized and safety-driven environment.
This position offers the opportunity to build sought-after technical expertise while contributing to large-scale international energy projects.
 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform electrical testing on power transformers (low voltage, high power, and high-voltage dielectric tests).
• Participate in specialized tests such as lightning impulse, AC/DC applied voltage, partial discharge, routine and type tests.
• Prepare and configure test setups in accordance with safety standards.
• Perform high-current cable and busbar connections.
• Monitor critical parameters and report anomalies.
• Generate and validate test reports using the TRS system.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues (autonomous level).
• Interpret test results and communicate technical conclusions.
• Act as a technical resource and support colleagues’ development (autonomous level).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO requirements, and customer specifications.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and equipment maintenance.
   

Your Background

• Candidate must already have work authorization permitting employment in Canada.
• College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Strong interest in electrical and high-voltage testing.
• Between 1 and 4 years of relevant high-voltage testing experience for autonomous level.
• Proven expertise in power transformer testing (autonomous level).
• Strong safety awareness and technical rigor.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Progressive autonomy and technical leadership skills.
• Availability for overtime and international training as required.
