Your Role as an Occupational Therapist

Impactful Patient Care

• Assessment and Goal Setting: Establish dynamic treatment goals through standardized and innovative assessment tools.
• Therapy Sessions: Deliver one-on-one, group, and co-treatment sessions using play-based and research-backed interventions tailored to each child’s needs.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to design and implement integrative treatment plans that consider sensorimotor, cognitive, and social aspects of care.
• Family Partnership: Empower families by educating them on home –based strategies that extend therapeutic gains beyond the clinic.

Operational Excellence

• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory requirements while supporting optimal billing practices.
• Innovative Programming: Contribute to program development and help drive clinical excellence within our rapidly growing healthcare model.

Physical and Professional Demands

• Deliver a minimum of 27 hours of direct patient care weekly (excluding training, documentation, and meetings).
• Be prepared for physical aspects of the role such as standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds (with accommodations available as needed).

Who We’re Looking For

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Licensure: A current, unrestricted Occupational Therapy license with eligibility for cross-state licensure as our business expands.
• Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated excellence in clinical skills with a passion for delivering integrative, family-centered care.
• Team Player: A collaborative spirit who is flexible, open to learning, and committed to working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using electronic medical records, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software systems.
