Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events, network infrastructure, servers, applications, and system alerts using monitoring and security tools.
- Perform first-level analysis, triage, and troubleshooting of security and infrastructure incidents.
- Identify and investigate suspicious activities, alerts, connectivity issues, and system anomalies.
- Respond to incidents according to established procedures, SLAs, and escalation matrices.
- Escalate complex or high-severity incidents to L2/L3 teams, security teams, or relevant technical specialists.
- Monitor and manage incidents in a 24/7 operational environment, including shift-based monitoring when required.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity, servers, applications, and infrastructure components.
- Monitor dashboards, alerts, logs, and system events to identify potential service disruptions or security threats.
- Maintain accurate incident records, investigation notes, escalation details, and operational documentation in ITSM systems.
- Support incident management, service restoration, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, application, and vendor teams during incident resolution.
- Perform routine health checks and operational monitoring to identify potential issues before they impact services.
- Follow established security, operational, change management, and incident response procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring, incident handling, documentation, and operational processes.
Requirements
- A minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in NOC, IT Operations, Service Desk, SOC, or related IT support functions.
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure, server environments, monitoring tools, and IT support processes.
- Experience in 24/7 network or infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and first-level troubleshooting.
- Experience with Dynatrace or ManageEngine is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Windows/Linux environments, and network troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ITSM processes, incident management, and SLA-driven support environments.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays where required.
