About the Role

The Net Revenue Management (NRM) Analyst supports the delivery of profitable growth by providing analytical insights, performance tracking, governance, and decision support across the core NRM levers of pricing, price-pack architecture (PPA), promotions, mix management, and trade investment. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Excellence teams to translate data into actionable recommendations, monitor the effectiveness of NRM initiatives, and ensure robust reporting and governance practices. The position plays a critical role in embedding a fact-based "volume-to-value" mindset and enabling the successful execution of the NRM roadmap.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct pricing, promotion, mix, and trade investment analyses to identify growth, margin, and revenue optimisation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain NRM scorecards, dashboards, and performance reporting to monitor key business and category trends.
  • Support pricing reviews by analysing internal and external benchmarks, competitor activity, consumer value dynamics, and financial impacts.
  • Contribute to Price Pack Architecture (PPA) reviews through data analysis, pack-price assessments, and recommendation development.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness through pre-event planning support and post-event analysis, identifying opportunities to improve return on investment.
  • Monitor portfolio and channel mix performance, highlighting risks and opportunities and supporting SKU prioritisation and rationalisation initiatives.
  • Support trade investment and Gross-to-Net (G2N) governance through accrual tracking, claims verification, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Prepare periodic NRM diagnostics and insight packs for commercial leadership, translating complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Maintain NRM tools, databases, models, SOPs, and governance documentation to ensure data integrity and process consistency.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Teams, and Commercial Excellence stakeholders to provide analytical support for customer, category, and brand planning processes.
  • Support annual planning cycles, forecasting processes, and commercial reviews by quantifying the impact of pricing, promotions, mix, and trade spend on business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify reporting, automate routine analyses, and improve NRM processes and ways of working.

Qualifications and skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, Commercial Analytics, Trade Spend Management, Sales Analytics, or a related FMCG/CPG environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including modelling, scenario analysis, and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of commercial performance drivers including pricing, promotions, trade investment, sales growth, and margin management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of data accuracy and governance.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Net Revenue Management, Revenue Growth Management, Commercial Excellence, Category, or Commercial Finance functions.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategy, promotional effectiveness analysis, price-pack architecture, or trade investment management methodologies.
  • Experience working with syndicated market data sources such as NielsenIQ, Circana, or similar datasets.
  • Power BI dashboard creation, automation, and data visualisation experience.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and structured problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation capabilities, including translating analytics into actionable business insights.
