Are you an experienced warehouse and materials management leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment? We are seeking a Materials Management Advisor to oversee safe, efficient, and cost-effective warehouse operations while leading a team of employees and third-party service providers. In this role, you'll drive operational excellence, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure materials are available when and where they are needed to support business success.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5-8 years related work experience with degree or equivalent combination of 3 years of leadership and management related experience (formal or informal)

  • Post-secondary business or supply chain management or journeyman parts ticket with experience in warehouse / inventory management

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of materials management processes and procedures

  • Experience working in oil and gas industry is an asset

  • Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and support warehouse personnel and third-party service providers to ensure safe and efficient operations

  • Oversee warehouse, inventory management, and material fulfillment activities while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations

  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Resolve receiving issues, including discrepancies, damaged materials, and delivery accuracy concerns

  • Ensure effective material handling and maintain the care, custody, and control of inventory at all times

  • Partner with stakeholders and service providers to remove barriers, improve performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities

  • Support operational discipline by addressing complex issues, escalating concerns when necessary, and assisting with training and implementation of new initiatives

  • Maintain a visible presence in the field, foster employee engagement, and participate in emergency response and cross-functional problem-solving activities

Location & other key details

  • This is an office-based role. You will work out of 3rd Party Warehouse facility located at 10 Corisande Dr, Mount Pearl, NL

  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday 8-5

  • Our professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
