About the Role
Are you a strategic networker with deep product knowledge in Mortgage and Auto Loans? We are looking for a high-performing Manager, Partnership Acquisition Channel to drive business growth through strategic partner networks.
In this role, you will be key to expanding our referral ecosystem—specifically engaging Hong Leong Assurance (HLA) agents. You will bridge the gap between business development and credit operations, ensuring seamless loan processing, strong channel relationships, and maximum portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Engagement & Business Development
- Drive Partner Acquisition: Proactively recruit, engage, and maintain relationships with strategic referral partners (Nationwide HLA agents) to drive mortgage and auto loan submissions.
- Agency Briefings: Plan and conduct regular briefing sessions for HLA agents and strategic partners to promote referral programs, product updates, and campaign initiatives.
- Target Achievement: Own and hit assigned sales targets for mortgage and auto loan referral volumes.
Credit & Pipeline Management
- Deal Structuring & Credit Review: Evaluate and recommend loan applications for Credit Evaluation Division (CED) assessment.
- Pipeline Resolution: Drive submission-to-acceptance ratios by actively resolving pending (KIV) cases, appealing credit rejections with strong justifications, and securing final borrower commitments.
- SLA & Turnaround Time: Monitor and manage the approval pipeline to ensure fast turnaround times and an efficient customer experience.
Governance & Performance Management
- Incentive Management: Oversee the accurate calculation and timely payout of partner incentives for mortgage and auto loan referrals.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct annual performance reviews of referral channels and partners to optimize productivity, ROI, and compliance.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven working experience in Mortgage and/or Auto Loan operations, credit evaluation, or channel management within financial services.
- Product Mastery: Strong end-to-end understanding of mortgage and auto loan products, credit assessment processes, and underwriting criteria.
- Skills: * Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (confident in conducting group briefings).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex credit cases.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently under pressure.
