This role is for an experienced hands-on EBS technical resource with good functional expertise to manage our Oracle E-Business Suite applications, including leadership of an international team of 4. The ideal candidate is a driven self-learner with the drive to succeed and pick up new skill sets quickly, while also able to lead and develop a distributed team across regions Work is assigned through a ticket system and/or practice projects, requiring the ability to deliver to timeline and scope, strong team-based problem solving to resolve challenges quickly, and a proven track record delivering high-quality technical work across varying levels of complexity. The role blends deep technical EBS expertise with partial ownership of Configurator support, and benefits from functional experience across one or more EBS tracks.

Team & Management Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an international team of 4 technical/functional EBS resources, spanning multiple regions and time zones
• Manage workload, priorities, and resource planning across the team, accounting for time zone coverage and handoffs
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and career development for all 4 direct reports
• Review and approve technical and functional deliverables produced by the team
• Ensure consistent working practices and knowledge-sharing across a geographically distributed team

Requirements

Priority Requirements – Technical

• Senior/expert knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports 12c (updated from 10g/11g – this environment runs EBS R12.2.11, which bundles Forms/Reports 12c, not 10g/11g)
• Senior/expert knowledge of Oracle EBS 11i, R12, and R12.2
• Senior/expert knowledge of Oracle Database 11g through 19c (updated from 9i-12c – this environment is on Database 19c with a 2-node RAC configuration)
• Ability to reverse-engineer code and processes that are not well documented
• Expert PL/SQL programmatic capability, including APIs, interfaces, and application extensions
• Partial ownership of Oracle Configurator support – new item setup, pricing/quoting configuration, and Configurator extensions (Java-based customizations)
• Knowledge of implementation/upgrade methodologies
• Knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and similar BI toolsets (updated from OBIEE – this environment uses OAC)
• Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) (updated from SOA/BAM – this environment's integration layer runs on OIC)
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid and proven interpersonal/team demeanor
• Bonus: functional experience

Priority Requirements – Functional

• Oracle EBS functional implementation experience – senior level, with at least 5+ implementations
• Expertise in at least 2 of the following tracks: Financials, Supply Chain, Distribution, CRM, Manufacturing (HRMS de-prioritized – see note below)
• Demonstrated experience as a senior resource assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is/to-be business process design, conference room pilots (CRPs), functional configuration, testing, and client user training
• Familiar with implementation/upgrade methodologies
• Clear communication skills
• Solid and proven interpersonal skills

Secondary Requirements

• Understanding of Oracle Hyperion EPM data and technical structure (confirmed relevant – see note below)
• Database knowledge and/or capability
• Good understanding of Oracle Edge applications and basic technical skills
• Project management skills and experience
• Objective-oriented, driver, performance-oriented, problem solver
