YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT

Would you like to lead a team that is transforming how Cloud environments are built and operated? As Manager, Cloud & Infrastructure Automation, you will lead a team responsible for automating GIRO’s core hosting processes and industrializing the creation of the infrastructure required to run our applications.

You will be responsible for your team’s people, skills, capacity, succession planning, and quality of execution. You will create the conditions needed to deliver and maintain the pipelines, APIs, infrastructure templates, and tools that enable the automated creation of environments hosting GIRO applications.

You will also ensure close collaboration between the teams responsible for building and evolving hosting capabilities (BUILD) and those responsible for their day-to-day operation (RUN).

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage, coach, and develop team members, set measurable objectives, and support their technical and professional growth.
  • Plan work based on priorities, capacity, skills, and delivery commitments, while maintaining a sustainable balance between evolution, maintenance, support, and technical debt.
  • Evolve the automation of recurring hosting processes and promote API-driven and self-service approaches that reduce manual intervention.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of provisioning capabilities, Infrastructure as Code modules, pipelines, and configurations required for GIRO environments.
  • Ensure delivered capabilities are secure, tested, documented, observable, and ready for operation, in collaboration with the Run Manager and SREs.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Architecture, Project, Security, and Development teams to align the roadmap, manage dependencies, and clarify BUILD-RUN responsibilities.
  • Communicate delivery status, capacity, quality, risks, and dependencies to management.

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM

  • Experience managing or formally leading a technical team, including coaching, skills development, performance management, and capacity planning.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud environments and key considerations related to provisioning, identity, networking, and security.
  • Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), APIs, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of work and balance new initiatives, technical debt, security, maintenance, and urgent requests.
  • Strong focus on quality, testing, observability, documentation, and maintainability.
  • Ability to mobilize technical specialists, challenge proposed solutions, assess risks, and guide technical decisions without necessarily implementing every solution personally on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders and foster constructive collaboration across teams.
  • Sound judgment, managerial courage, rigor, customer focus, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in French. Proficiency in English is required to collaborate with partners and teams in an international environment.

ASSETS THAT COULD SET YOU APART

  • Experience in a SaaS environment or in hosting client solutions.
  • Experience working with an SRE team or within a BUILD-RUN collaboration model.
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
  • Experience in an environment with stringent security and compliance requirements.
