Maintenance Technician | Silgan Closures | Tolleson, AZ

In this hands-on industrial maintenance role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed injection and compression molding equipment used to produce closures for popular food and beverage brands. What We Offer:

• Pay range $28.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience + $1.00 per hour for night shift
• 12- hour shift 5:45 pm – 6:00 am or - Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
• Bi-weekly pay

• Schedule: 2-2-3 with every other weekend off – Friday - Sunday or Monday -Friday

What You Will Do:

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Perform repairs on compression and injection molding machinery, auxiliary equipment and maintain systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Repair and rebuild spare parts using hand tools, measuring instruments, blueprints and schematic
• Work with Team Leads, Quality Assurance Technicians, PTMs, Molders, Lining Technicians, and Printer Technicians
• Observe and enforce all safety, security, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, and HACCP programs.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas and machinery.
• Assist with building and grounds repairs, including snow removal.
• Utilize EAM maintenance management software to enter and close work orders, track parts, and log labor hours.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 + years of experience of industrial maintenance experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform maintenance tasks to the satisfaction of the Maintenance Manager
• Capable of working in a high-speed manufacturing environment with heavy-duty industrial equipment
