The Role of a Linen Runner

The role of the Linen Runner is to receive and distribute stock according to company policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives incoming shipments according to Company Policy

• Immediately reports any discrepancies to Manager, completing the appropriate paperwork

• Stores stock in allocated storage area neatly and immediately upon receipt

• Processes stock requests from stores according to company policies

• Delivers stock according to delivery schedule

• Assists associates in lifting or moving stock as necessary

• Carries out inventory checks are required and according to company procedure

• Keeps linen room clean and linen neatly on shelves at all times

• Assist with storeroom inventory when requested

• Keeps room area clean and tidy at all times, with stock, display fixtures and all other equipment stored in designated spaces

• Performs other reasonable duties that may be required management
