Position Overview

Join the team at Shaw Industries! We're looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals to help maintain lift truck batteries and keep our operation running smoothly.

This position is located and works out of Cypress, CA.

$22.33 Per Hour 

Schedule:  Monday – Friday 6am - 2:30 pm

What You'll Do

• Change batteries on lift trucks throughout the shift
• Monitor water levels and perform routine battery maintenance
• Operate battery-changing equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on charging equipment
• Enter battery change information into the computer system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support warehouse and maintenance teams as needed
• Follow all attendance, safety, and operational requirements

• Strong attention to safety and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workplace

Physical Requirements

• Stand, sit, and work on a lift truck throughout the shift
• Frequently mount and dismount equipment
• Guide and handle lift truck batteries during battery changes
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently during the shift
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
