  • Develop effective partnerships across the FCA, regulated firms, and UK authorities to coordinate responses to incidents with significant consumer or market impact
  • Provide strategic advice, reporting and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing decision-making during high-profile resilience events
  • Lead, coach and develop team members, creating an inclusive and collaborative environment where colleagues can thrive
  • Act as a trusted expert in incident management, cyber resilience and operational disruption, supporting and empowering colleagues across the FCA
  • Analyse incidents and technology disruptions to identify trends, share lessons learned and strengthen resilience across the financial services sector
  • Shape the FCA's approach to emerging risks, including frontier AI, through industry engagement, resilience exercises and specialist thought leadership

  • Well-developed collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive relationships, shape decisions and deliver results through effective teamwork
  • Awareness of emerging technology trends, including AI, cloud computing, automation and cyber security tooling, with the ability to apply this knowledge to operational resilience and incident response activities
  • Ability to analyse complex and fast-evolving technology incidents and translate their impacts into practical considerations relating to consumer outcomes, market stability, organisational resilience and cross-sector dependencies
  • Understanding of recognised resilience, governance and service management frameworks such as COBIT, NIST and ITIL
