Summary

A Microbiology Analyst is responsible for conducting and coordinating Microbiological testing and related activities required in the Plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aseptic technique and sampling
• Bioburden testing (total microbial count) of water and medical devices
• Spectrophotometric analysis
• Environmental testing
• Media preparation
• Microbial culture preparation
• Documentation compilation according to GMP requirements
• Instrumentation operation
• Stock management
• Sterilization related activities
• Test method validations
• Laboratory upkeep

Qualifications

• Hold a Science-related degree or other qualification in Chemistry and/or Biology or medical-laboratory science and have related 1-2 years of work experience in a certified laboratory environment, especially in microbiology, which will be considered an asset.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €27,200.00 ​annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change.
