Job Title: Key account Manager - Advanced & Analytical Systems

Department Overview:

Sales and Marketing Development for Hitachi Electron Microscope related products, territory will be assigned by management within ASEAN and South Asia countries.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop potential customers across Education & Research (Life Science and Material Science).

  • Work on some of the key accounts like pharmaceutical segments through referrals, networking, cold calls, and other prospecting methods.

  • Work closely with assigned Distributor for business Improvement.

  • Explore and develop new markets while strengthening presence in existing territories.

  • Travel along with distributors on mature cases.

  • Develop strong knowledge of Hitachi Electron Microscopy pro

  • ucts and applications.

  • Stay updated on competitor products, positioning, and market trends.

  • Do share information with the distributors in a timely manner.

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

  • Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical and commercial solutions.

  • Engage customers through regular communication, including product updates, email campaigns, events, and activities. Do support marketing team with such tasks.

  • Conduct effective product and solution presentations, clearly articulating features, benefits, and value propositions.

  • Actively participate in marketing activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and user meetings.

  • Work closely with Sales, Service, Application, and Administration teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.

Work Experience & Requirements:

  • Engineering / Science degree.

  • 6-8 years of experience in scientific instruments, analytical systems, or high-end capital equipment sales.

  • Experience in Japanese company is preferable

  • Ability to travel overseas and domestic business trips based on required.

  • Proven experience in managing teams and distributor networks.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English and able to communicate with Japanese.

  • Initiative to determine and propose solutions to the clients and execute sales is required.

Education & certification requirements:

  • Minimum certification of bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

  • Degree in the science or engineering -related field or major is advantage.

  • Business level Japanese language skill is advantage.
