Nextgen is a UK based company that provides services for mobile operators world-wide. We are a growing company with about 300+ employees and offices in Europe, Asia, India, Egypt and the US. Our core competency is the provision of services around the commercial aspects of mobile roaming, in particular data and financial clearing. Our services are based on proprietary software. The software is based on Web and Oracle technology and its main purpose consists in processing and distribution of roaming data, settlement of charges between the operators and providing business intelligence applications to our customers

Role Purpose & Context:

Junior Social Media & Content Manager – Objectives

• Support the planning, creation and scheduling of engaging content across Soft Gallery’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok and beyond)
• Help build Soft Gallery’s online presence and brand voice from the ground up, growing together with the project rather than simply maintaining an existing account
• Bring creative thinking and digital intuition to every post — understanding what looks interesting online and what people want to watch, save or share
• Develop into a professional Social Media Manager over time, eventually taking full ownership of Soft Gallery’s social media: someone who says “Here’s what we should create next — and here’s why,” not someone waiting to be told what to post

Salary : Entry-Level / High Potential (0–1 yr.): ₹4.5L – ₹6L  |  Junior (1–2 yrs): ₹6L – ₹9L

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit and publish engaging content (posts, reels, short-form video, captions) across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms
• Plan and execute the social media content calendar, following and adapting current trends and formats
• Monitor engagement, comments and direct messages, building an active and responsive community
• Research artists, exhibitions and cultural events to inform content, and support newsletter content
• Track and report on key social media metrics such as reach, engagement, followers and growth
• Stay up to date with social media trends and tools — including AI content tools, Canva and video-editing platforms — recommending new approaches where relevant

Required skills and qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English, with a strong eye for tone, grammar and brand voice
• A genuine, native-level familiarity with Instagram and TikTok as a user — you follow trends and enjoy discovering new formats
• Strong visual eye and sense of aesthetics, with creative thinking and digital intuition
• Open to candidates with limited professional experience but strong content creation skills and social media instincts — freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply
• Proactive mindset, bringing ideas rather than waiting for instructions; organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Comfortable learning new tools, including AI content tools, Canva and video-editing platforms

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Interest in contemporary art, fashion, design or culture — or excitement to learn about the art world
• Experience using social media scheduling or analytics tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
• Basic photography, videography or graphic design skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field
