POSITION SUMMARY

The Analyst will support the Business Technology Partner (BTP) and Engagement team by assisting in the delivery of key initiatives across the ITS function. This role will be responsible for completing end-to-end compliance assessments—including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Security Risk Assessments (SRA), and Third-Party Risk Assessments (TPRA). The analyst will also contribute to initiative scoping activities, develop engagement briefs, and support the coordination and organisation of key planning events, such as the ITS Quarterly Planning process. This position offers hands-on experience in IT governance, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key to success in this role. 

Key Accountabilities Summary

  • Support and coordinate end-to-end compliance assessments including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Security Risk Assessments (SRA), and Third-Party Risk Assessments (TPRA).
  • Support initiative scoping by gathering initial requirements and identifying business problems or opportunities.
  • Draft and maintain engagement briefs outlining initiative objectives, scope, stakeholders, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and organise tasks for the ITS Quarterly Planning cycle, including scheduling and communications.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment across ITS and business units.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for compliance assessments and initiative planning.
  • Provide administrative support such as meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and follow-up tracking.
  • Monitor initiative timelines and assessment progress, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements for compliance, documentation, and planning workflows.
  • Undertake other duties commensurate with the scope and classification of the role

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience in professional communication and project management.
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours as needed to support key initiatives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and tech savvy to learn new technology systems to support the functions of the role.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a responsible attitude and ability to meet
  • deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Current RMIT Vietnam students who have completed 2 years of undergraduate study are encouraged to apply (Senior students are given priority).
  • Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT Values.
