​Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-quality backend services using Java and Spring Boot.​
• Build cloud-native applications on SAP BTP, ideally using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).​
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code with a strong focus on long-term maintainability and software quality.​
• Develop and maintain automated tests using JUnit to ensure reliable and robust services.​
• Take ownership of the quality of your code, including test coverage, readability, and maintainability.​
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards within the team.​
• Contribute to the architecture and design of modern backend systems.​
• Work in a Git-based development workflow with collaborative development practices.​
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks to ensure reliable software delivery.​

Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.​
• Strong experience in Java backend development with Spring Boot.​
• Solid experience with automated testing using JUnit.​
• Strong understanding of software quality, clean code, and maintainable architecture.​
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (e.g., pull requests and code reviews).​
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend services.​
• Experience with cloud-native application development.​
• Experience with SAP CAP and SAP BTP is a strong plus but not required.​
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks.​
• Ability to write well-tested, reliable, and maintainable software.​
