Job Description:
The China Tax Supervisor serves as the local tax subject matter expert and is responsible for managing China tax compliance, tax audits, and tax authority relationships. This position oversees the preparation and review of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other local tax filings, coordinates responses to tax bureau inquiries and audits, monitors tax regulatory developments, and provides tax guidance to support business operations. The role partners with internal stakeholders and external advisors on tax planning, risk management, and ad hoc projects to meet business needs, while supervising tax specialists where applicable.
