About this Accenture Construct – Owner’s Authorized Representative I, ANS role at Infrastructureand Capital Projects

Infrastructureand Capital Projects · Onsite · Los Angeles, CA

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

THE WORK:

  • You’ll manage assigned projects through pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close-out.
  • You’ll review pre-construction documents, contractor schedules, submittals, substitution requests, and Requests for Clarification, coordinating responses and providing comments as needed.
  • You’ll plan, organize, and prepare project status and progress reports for upper management.
  • You’ll coordinate with public agencies, District and project staff, contractors, architects, and engineers throughout pre-construction and construction, including the delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
  • You’ll manage project budgets and schedules to meet District standards, monitor budgets monthly, and confirm that reported information accurately reflects project status and progress.
  • You’ll manage contractors’ daily activities and review and negotiate Contractor Change Order Proposals to achieve fair and reasonable pricing and address schedule impacts in accordance with project requirements.\You’ll monitor payments to contractors, architects, engineers, and other applicable parties, and administer Professional Service Agreements between architects and the District.
  • You’ll manage project close-out, including Division of the State Architect certification and financial close-out.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
  • HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Ten years of full-time paid professional experience in construction or a combination of project and construction management for commercial, public, or educational facility construction, including three years with full responsibility for coordinating complex projects valued at more than $10 million each, not cumulative.
  • For the ten-year pathway, a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management from a recognized college or university. A Certified Construction Manager credential from the Construction Management Association of America may substitute for the education requirement.
  • Alternatively, 15 years of full-time paid professional experience in construction or a combination of project and construction management for commercial, public, or educational facility construction, including eight years with full responsibility for coordinating complex projects valued at more than $10 million each, not cumulative.
  • BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • A degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management, or a Certified Construction Manager credential from the Construction Management Association of America, if you qualify through the 15-year experience pathway.
Design-build experience or experience using Building Information Modeling
  • Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified projects, the Collaborative for High Performing Schools, or Division of the State Architect construction and design processes
  • OSHA 30 safety training; a valid California Architect or Professional Engineer registration; or a valid Certified Construction Manager credential from the Construction Manager Certification Institute

  • WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

    • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
    • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
    • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
    • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
    • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
    • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
    • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
