THE WORK:
You’ll support the Accounts Payable function and contribute to the timely and accurate execution of the monthly financial close process.
You’ll manage vendor master data within the ERP environment, process vendor disbursements, and issue vendor payments in accordance with approval requirements, payment terms, internal policies, and financial controls.
You’ll support the administration of annual 1099 forms, issue W-9 forms as needed, and follow applicable IRS requirements and company policies.
You’ll prepare and maintain documentation and supporting schedules for internal and external audits.
You’ll support internal controls related to cash receipts, cash disbursements, vendor payments, and other Accounts Payable activities, including managing Positive Pay activities through the banking platform.
You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice, payment, approval, and vendor-related issues while ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
You’ll identify opportunities to optimize, automate, standardize, and digitally enable Accounts Payable processes to reduce SLA cycle times and manual errors and improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
You’ll manage a high volume of invoices, inquiries, payments, and competing priorities and contribute to special projects as needed to support the organization.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'll NEED:
3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, bookkeeping, or a related finance function
3 years of experience working with ERP systems, accounting software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in Excel
3 years of experience managing high volumes of invoices, vendor inquiries, payment requests, and disbursements while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
3 years of experience supporting month-end close activities, financial reporting, audit documentation, and related accounting processes
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience supporting Accounts Payable process improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
Experience managing banking platforms and Positive Pay processes
Experience supporting internal and external financial audits and maintaining audit documentation
Experience managing vendor master data and implementing financial controls
