What you'll do

Provision of functional support, administration, and troubleshooting for industrial applications (e.g., management of scheduling and workflows, event and incident management, etc.) and their supporting infrastructure. The role acts as a liaison between users, vendors, and IT teams to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the systems. In more detail:

·       Support and troubleshooting of industrial applications,

·       Conducting application testing and verifying fixes,

·       Performing administrative tasks on systems and servers that host the applications,

·       Collecting and analyzing logs to investigate incidents,

·       Starting, stopping, and restarting services and applications,

·       Installing and configuring applications on tablets and mobile devices,

·       Configuring and supporting secure industrial Wi-Fi,

·       Collaborating with users, vendors, and internal IT teams to resolve issues,

·       Running ad hoc SQL queries for data extraction and verification,

·       Maintaining technical documentation and support procedures.

Requirements

Mandatory

·      Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field,

·      At least 1 year of experience in application support or systems administration,

·      Experience with Windows Server environments and basic knowledge of Linux,

·      Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot technical issues,

·      Knowledge of SQL and relational databases and historians,

·      Basic knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi, and mobile device support,

·      Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and business users,

·      Willingness to work in new fields and develop new skills,

·     Eligibility to work within the EU,

·      Fluency in Greek and English,

·      Willingness to work on-site.

Nice to have

·      At least 3 years of experience in application support or systems administration,

·      Experience with industrial applications or equivalent industrial systems,

·      Experience in refinery, oil and gas, or heavy industry environments,

·      Familiarity with middleware/application servers,

·      Knowledge of system monitoring tools,

·      Knowledge of basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
