ICG is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Insurance companies, Pensions and Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Banks.

In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney as well as in several countries across Asia. We are looking for an Emerging Market Salesperson based in Korea to focus on covering Institutional clients for Solutions / Structured products.

Your key responsibilities:

• Work with local ICG Korea Head to deliver on the sales strategy in line with the Bank’s strategy, the Bank’s resource capacity, and the available business opportunity.
  Manage your own set of clients to deliver on individual performance targets and develop new clients to grown the Korea franchise.
• The Sales is expected to build detailed client / product knowledge, market knowledge and cultivate client relationships in order to generate sales opportunities; work to develop deep understanding of the client need / product detail and Bank’s capabilities with the aim of meeting client satisfaction expectations.
  The Sales should also be conversant with relevant legal, regulatory and Bank policy requirements and operate accordingly.
• Building the necessary working relationships with origination, trading, research, client services, and operations staff – if applicable & to the degree that is commensurate with the business area - to ensure effective end to end client / product delivery.
• Individual should have existing strong client relationships and will focus on expanding our coverage of Insurance companies, Pensions, and Real Money investors.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience within KRW and Emerging Market Rates & FX across both flow and structured products
• Client coverage experience focusing on a strategy-based sales model, ideally having experience in pitching trade ideas and pertinent themes in the aforementioned products and cross-assets
• Strong and existing institutional client relationships with Korean clients
• Ability to interact and fit into a regional / global team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
