What you’ll be doing:

At Sime Group, safety is at the heart of everything we do. We're seeking an experienced HSS Senior Data Analyst to play a critical role in supporting safety, sustainability, regulatory reporting and business performance across the Southern Industrial region.

As the HSS Senior Data Analyst, you'll be the central point of coordination for safety and sustainability data management, reporting, governance and audit readiness. You will support both internal and external reporting requirements, while helping drive continuous improvement and innovation across our digital reporting platforms.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, validating, analysing and reporting Health, Safety and Sustainability data.
  • Managing Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions reporting and sustainability metrics.
  • Coordinating National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) requirements.
  • Developing reporting dashboards and analytical insights for business stakeholders.
  • Ensuring robust governance, controls and audit-ready supporting documentation.
  • Supporting internal and external audit requirements, including sustainability assurance activities.
  • Partnering with business leaders to improve data quality, compliance and reporting outcomes.
  • Preparing weekly, monthly and annual HSS reporting for the Southern Industrial region.

What you’ll need:  

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical data skills with excellent stakeholder engagement and governance capability.

You will ideally bring:

  • Experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence or related disciplines.
  • Experience working with safety, sustainability, environmental or operational datasets.
  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
  • Experience with sustainability reporting, emissions reporting, ESG frameworks or NGER requirements will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working with Power BI, reporting platforms and enterprise systems will be advantageous.
