As an HR Business Partner, you'll join BD on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, supporting leaders and employees across a broad range of HR activities while partnering closely with our Senior HR Business Partners.
This is a true HR generalist role, with a strong focus on employee relations, manager coaching, HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. It's ideal for an experienced Senior HR Advisor, HR Generalist or early‑career HR Business Partner looking to broaden their experience in a large, complex organisation.
You’ll work across a variety of stakeholder groups, helping leaders navigate people challenges while contributing to projects that improve the employee experience and strengthen HR processes across the business.
Your Day-to-Day
You'll combine practical HR support with project-based work, providing trusted guidance while helping drive people initiatives across the business.
You will:
- Support managers with employee relations matters including investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes
- Coach leaders through workplace issues and support effective people decisions
- Provide day-to-day HR advice across policies, procedures and employment matters
- Prepare employee documentation, correspondence and case management records
- Support compliance, governance and HR best practices across the business
- Lead and contribute to HR projects focused on wellbeing, policy review and process improvement
- Review and enhance existing people processes and programs
- Support HR reporting, workforce metrics and people analytics activities
- Analyse people data and identify trends to support decision-making
- Coordinate learning and development activities, onboarding initiatives and Emerging Leaders programs
- Partner with Senior HR Business Partners on broader people initiatives across ANZ
This is a role where you'll balance operational HR work with meaningful project activity and continuous improvement.
About You
You're a confident HR professional who enjoys working closely with leaders, solving people challenges and improving how things are done.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience in employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations
- Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Generalist or HRBP capacity
- Confidence partnering with managers across a range of people matters
- Experience delivering HR projects and process improvement initiatives
- Strong judgement, professionalism and the ability to manage sensitive conversations
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience working within large or complex organisations (highly regarded)
- Exposure to policy development, HR compliance and governance activities
- An interest in HR reporting, workforce analytics and deriving insights from data
- Experience supporting matrixed organisations and multiple stakeholder groups will be highly regarded.
