About the role 

As Housekeeping Valet at Domes Noruz Chania, you will support the housekeeping team in keeping the hotel clean, welcoming and running smoothly, so that our guests enjoy a comfortable stay. 

What you will do 

Housekeeping support 

• Help clean guest rooms, corridors and public areas. 

• Replenish cleaning supplies and linen, such as sheets and towels. 

• Collect clean linen from the laundry and store it correctly. 

Maintenance and equipment 

• Let your supervisor know about any damage or cleaning supplies needed. 

• Carry out small repairs in hotel areas when needed. 

• Clean and look after cleaning equipment. 

Health, safety and hygiene 

• Follow cleaning procedures in line with hygiene and safety standards. 

• Apply strict cleaning and hygiene rules. 

• Check for wear or faults and report them to the maintenance team. 

Special requests 

• Help set up tables and chairs, move beds and similar tasks. 

• Respond quickly to special requests from guests and colleagues. 

Requirements

What you will bring 

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in hospitality. 

• Good knowledge of cleaning and disinfection procedures. 

• A responsible approach and attention to detail. 

• Team spirit and good collaboration with all departments. 

• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and stay professional under pressure. 

• Good time management and the ability to prioritise. 

• Knowledge of English is desirable.
