The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Environmental Public Health section is seeking a Healthy Fish Consumption Program Coordinator (Program Analyst 2) to join the Healthy Waters unit. This position plays a key role in supporting the implementation and administration of the Healthy Fish Consumption program. The coordinator leads the design, development, and execution of collaborative research projects that gather socioeconomic and environmental data related to fishing and fish consumption among subsistence, recreational, and Tribal fishers in Oregon. Findings from this work inform OHA fish consumption health advisories and guide outreach and education efforts aimed at reducing health risks from contaminated fish.

In this role, you will drive research activities, support program operations, and contribute to public health messaging that helps communities make informed decisions about eating Oregon’s freshwater fish. You will also identify program needs, review contract bids, and collaborate with toxicologists, public health departments, state and local partners, and community stakeholders to address fish consumption‑related health hazards.
