Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Head of Global Infrastructure, the Head of Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for defining, delivering, and operating Euronext's Cloud strategy and services.

The role leads the international team responsible for the architecture, design, delivery, support, and operation of Cloud platforms and services, while driving automation, Infrastructure as Code, and Cloud governance initiatives across the organization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating Euronext's cloud-first strategy, combining strong leadership capabilities with deep technical expertise in cloud technologies, platform engineering, automation, security, and operational excellence.

Key Accountabilities

Euronext follows a cloud-first strategy whenever relevant, considering workload eligibility, business value, delivery acceleration, resilience, and cost optimization.

In this context, the Head of Cloud Engineering will be responsible for the strategic development and operational management of Cloud environments.

Cloud Strategy & Adoption

• Define and drive Euronext's Cloud strategy in collaboration with application and business teams.
• Develop and maintain the Cloud adoption roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Promote cloud-native approaches and modern engineering practices.
• Establish and maintain a Cloud Center of Excellence to accelerate cloud adoption and ensure consistency across the Group.

Cloud Platform Engineering

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate highly reliable, secure, and scalable Cloud services.
• Ensure Cloud platforms comply with architectural standards, operational requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Drive platform automation and self-service capabilities.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives to improve consistency, agility, and operational efficiency.

Operational Excellence

• Refine and evolve the Cloud operating model to maximize service quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Establish measurable service objectives and operational KPIs.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
• Lead incident management, problem management, and resilience improvement initiatives for Cloud services.

FinOps & Governance

• Mature Euronext's FinOps capabilities and governance framework.
• Optimize Cloud spend through cost transparency, accountability, and efficiency measures.
• Provide financial visibility and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Establish governance processes ensuring sustainable Cloud growth.

Security & DevSecOps

• Define and implement a DevSecOps strategy across Cloud platforms.
• Strengthen Cloud security posture through automation, policy enforcement, and continuous compliance.
• Work closely with Information Security teams to ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
• Promote security-by-design principles across Cloud ecosystems.

Innovation & Transformation

• Evaluate and introduce innovative Cloud technologies aligned with business objectives.
• Drive modernization initiatives that improve agility, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
• Support AI, data, and platform transformation initiatives leveraging Cloud capabilities.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a geographically distributed Cloud Engineering team.
• Build a high-performance engineering culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Define team objectives, development plans, and succession planning.
• Collaborate effectively with Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and Application teams.

Profile & Skills

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Platform Engineering leadership roles.
• Proven leadership experience managing international engineering teams.
• Strong track record of delivering Cloud transformation and operational excellence initiatives.

Education

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent.

Technical Expertise

• Strong expertise in public cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of networking, security, resilience, and platform engineering principles.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps and FinOps practices.
