We are looking for a Junior Developer Trainee to join the Dev Commando Team within the IT Market Services Architecture function. The position will be based in Porto, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the Dev Commando Team Lead.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining MkDocs plugins and extensions, including backend and frontend components
• Building web-based tools and applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Creating Python tools for developer productivity, data processing and analytics
• Contributing to the design and evolution of internal developer tools and automation
• Writing clean, maintainable and tested code, following modern software engineering practices
• Using technologies such as GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, AWS and Docker
• Participating in code reviews, technical discussions and team design sessions
• Investigating technical problems and experimenting with solutions
• Maintaining and improving existing tools while contributing to new developments
• Collaborating closely with architects and developers in Porto and Paris

Your profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with modern development tools (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, Docker)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to work on a variety of projects and technical challenges
• Up to one year of relevant experience or recent graduate

The Dev Commando Team is a small, highly skilled engineering group within the Architecture function, focused on rapidly delivering developer tools, web applications and technical solutions to support engineering teams across Euronext. You will work closely with colleagues in Porto and Paris, contributing to a wide variety of projects and learning from experienced engineers and architects.
