As a Guidewire Senior Developer - QA - Associate, you will engage in client support within our Technology Consulting practice, focusing on delivering quality solutions and enhancing client satisfaction. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and implementing Guidewire solutions that align with their business objectives. You will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration, providing you with the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will have the chance to work on diverse projects, enhancing your adaptability and reliability. This position offers a platform for personal growth and the development of a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving.

Responsibilities

-Demonstrates expert abilities and extensive Application Managed Service projects and Quality Assurance Testing the Guidewire applications suite on premises and SaaS, with proven success executing and leading all aspects of complex engagements within the Guidewire product suite achieving on-time and on-budget delivery, as well as the following: 

  • Demonstrates expert abilities managing ITIL Processes; Tracking SLA’s, and contracting; 

  • Demonstrates advanced abilities providing solution strategy and Application Evolution Services (AES, formerly AMS) delivery as a Guidewire Lead QA.


- Developing and configuring Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter applications to meet client requirements
- Integrating Guidewire systems with other software platforms to enhance functionality and streamline processes
- Participating in software development and system development tasks to support application evolution services
- Collaborating with teams to apply software development methodologies in project execution
- Utilizing intellectual curiosity to explore innovative solutions and improve system performance
- Engaging in active listening and accepting feedback to refine development processes and deliver quality outcomes
- Supporting client engagements by providing technical insights and solutions for Guidewire applications
- Applying teamwork skills to foster a collaborative environment and achieve project goals

What You Must Have

- QA experience in Guidewire applications testing both Manual and Automation 

- Deep Expertise in Guidewire Policy Center and Working Knowledge on Billing Center and Claims

- Experience with both OOTB Guidewire functionality and client customizations for Policy, Billing and Claims Center for Property and Casualty Insurance companies 
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2-4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

    - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics
    - At least one of the following: Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification
    - Demonstrating proficiency in Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter
    - Engaging in software development methodologies and system development
    - Utilizing intellectual curiosity to drive innovative solutions
    - Participating in GuideWire integration projects
    - Excelling in teamwork and client support environments
