Role Summary

This is an individual contributor role based in Malaysia, supporting operations regionally across Southeast Asia. You own lead generation, data enrichment, and lead prioritisation for the F&B market, leading projects end to end from a product or data angle with clear commercial results. Your secondary focus is using that data to set up and drive AI-led engagement campaigns and to enable Marketing and Sales with AI. This is a product and data ownership role, not a hands-on engineering role: you set the strategy and partner with engineering on the build rather than building and operating everything yourself. Because the work touches engineering, marketing, and sales at once, cross-functional collaboration matters as much as product and data judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Data Pipeline

• Own the lead data pipeline, including the overall strategy: sourcing, collection, cleaning, enrichment, matching, and deduplication across sources and against existing CRM records
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Product to deliver, run, and improve the pipeline
• Set data quality standards and monitoring, including match rules, refresh cadence, and coverage and accuracy metrics
• Deliver clean, prioritised leads into HubSpot and the internal sales CRM, with clear lead and deal attribution
• Work with Legal and Compliance to keep data sourcing within applicable data protection laws in each market (such as PDPA) and platform terms

AI Enablement for Marketing and Sales

• Use enriched lead data to set up and drive AI-led engagement campaigns, including chatbots and other AI-driven outreach: audience segments, message sequences, triggers, timing, and handoff to Sales
• Identify and prioritise opportunities where AI can help Marketing and Sales teams work faster or convert better, and work with engineers to bring them into the teams’ daily workflows
• Support localisation across Southeast Asian markets, including language, tone, and channel
• Support A/B tests and analyse results (reply rate, qualification rate, conversion to meeting and deal) to improve campaign performance

Requirements

• 5+ years in product, growth, data, or RevOps roles in B2B SaaS or a related field
• Track record of leading an end-to-end project that delivered commercial results (for example pipeline, revenue, conversion, or cost savings), from a product or data angle
• Working knowledge of Python: able to prototype, read, and review data pipeline code and direct engineers on it, without needing to build and operate everything yourself
• Experience with data enrichment, entity resolution, and record matching (fuzzy matching, merge rules, survivorship logic) on messy business data
• Experience running A/B tests and analysing results with a data-driven approach
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation (HubSpot or similar) and with funnel and attribution analytics
• Able to work independently and with senior stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering
• Understanding of Southeast Asian SME markets
• Fluent in English and Mandarin

Nice to Have

• Bahasa Melayu and/or Bahasa Indonesia
• TypeScript, Go (Golang), and SQL
• Experience with AI chatbots or conversational AI, such as WhatsApp sales or support bots, chatbot evaluation, or conversation quality measurement
• Experience with LLM tooling or agentic automation in a commercial setting
• Prior experience in F&B, retail, POS, or SME-focused SaaS
• Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API, mobile attribution, or GA4
