About the position:
Join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane 2027 Graduate Registered Nurse Program commencing in February 2027, with the exciting opportunity to work in a sub-acute hospital environment. We offer the following sub-acute care specialties; Rehabilitation; Medical and Chronic Pain Management Service, Palliative Care and Geriatric Medical Services.

Our Graduate Registered Nurse Program commences 2nd February 2027 with completion in February 2028 offering a 52 week, fixed term, 0.84 FTE position.

Additionally, our Northside site offers a transition programs into: Critical Care (ICU) Nursing, Cardiac Catheter Lab (CCL) or Perioperative for consideration after completion of your graduate year, supporting your continued growth and career progression.

What works for us:
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse prior to program commencement
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Well-developed skills in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital setting
Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7-day week, including early, late and night shifts (nights on wards only)

Remuneration:
The position of Graduate Registered Nurse, in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Registered Nurse Level 1, Year 1, with a base remuneration of $45.12 hourly + superannuation + shift penalties + allowances.
