About this Gaming Auditor, Shared Services role at Melco Resorts & Entertainment
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Gaming Auditor, Shared Services conducts daily audit of gaming activities such as Table Games, Slot Machines, Casino Promotions and Cage transactions to ensure that gaming revenues, patron related promotional expenses and cash transactions will be recorded accurately and complete, reconcile with system reports and in compliance with department or company standard operating procedures and gaming regulatory requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Audit daily revenues from Table Games, Slot Machines to ensure its accuracy and completeness and reconcile with system reports.
2. Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant department for resolution.
3. Ensure that relevant gaming operation procedures comply with department approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) and gaming regulatory requirements.
4. Ensure that cage transactions reflected in daily cage report are accurate, properly accounted and with supporting documents.
5. Review casino marketing promotions to ensure that patron entitlement and awarding of prizes are in accordance with the approved Promotion Operating Procedure (POP)
6. Ensure documents requested by Internal and/or External Audits are provided within the defined timeline
7. Prepare internal and external reports as required by management and/or for statutory compliance.
8. Monitor open or outstanding audit findings and follow up with concerned Department
9. Participate in the development and review of Gaming Audit SOPs
10. Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. Experience in gaming audit, revenue audit or casino finance is preferred
2. Work experience in Integrated Resort is an advantage.
II. Education
1. Graduate of bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
2. Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Strong knowledge of gaming operations and audit procedures
2. Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills.
4. High attention to details and ability to handle confidential information.
