About this FSP - Central Monitor in Mexico role at IQVIA
Job Overview
IQVIA is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Central Monitor to support risk-based monitoring activities across global clinical studies. This role is responsible for the centralized review of study and site-level risk signals, identifying trends, assessing potential issues, and recommending appropriate actions to ensure data quality and patient safety.
The Central Monitor operates within a centralized monitoring environment and works closely with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), study teams, and sponsor Risk Advisors. This position does not involve direct site contact, on-site monitoring visits, data management activities, or CRA responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform centralized monitoring activities for assigned global clinical studies (typically 4-5 studies simultaneously).
- Review and assess site-level and study-level risk signals generated through centralized monitoring platforms.
- Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and potential quality issues.
- Complete signal reviews within established timelines (typically within 5 business days of signal generation).
- Document findings, risk assessments, and recommended actions clearly and accurately.
- Provide actionable recommendations to study teams and CRAs for risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Track and follow up on identified risks to ensure recommended actions have been appropriately addressed.
- Prepare and analyze study reports, metrics, dashboards, and presentations to support risk-based monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with sponsor-designated Risk Advisors and cross-functional study teams to evaluate risks and support study oversight.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to centralized monitoring processes and risk management strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences.
- Previous experience in: Centralized Monitoring Review, Clinical Data Review, Risk-Based Monitoring (RBM), Clinical Data Analytics, Central Monitoring Findings Review
- Strong written and verbal communication skills,. Advanced level of English is mandatory.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
