About this FROZEN SEAFOOD KAM – SOUTH AFRICA role at Nueva Pescanova
At Nueva Pescanova Group, a leading multinational company in the sector of seafood, we are looking for a Seafood Key Account Manager to join UnickFish, our commercial subsidiary based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Mission
Execute sales plans to develop customer accounts and drive growth in the seafood foodservice channel in SA, under the direction of South Africa Country Manager, Niekie Kock.
Main responsibilities
1. Comply with the sales budget and execute the commercial action plans.
Contribute to achieving sales targets in the Organized Food Services.
Support the identification of new opportunities.
Assist in reactivating inactive customers.
Prepare and support the presentation of commercial proposals.
Provide regular updates on sales performance.
2. Support daily sales operations.
Assist in order processing, coordinating shipments, invoicing and follow-up.
Support customer management and day-to-day commercial activities.
Collaborate in the launch and development of new products for clients.
3. Market and customer analysis
Support the collection and reporting of market, price and customer data.
Monitor competitor activity and pricing trends.
Help identify potential new customers and sales channels
What would we like to hear from you?
Degree in Business Administration or similar.
3–4 years of experience in the seafood industry is essential.
Proven experience in a similar sales role within the seafood industry is required.
Strong command of English (professional level).
Proactive attitude, good communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
Where will your workplace be?
You will be based in the Bellville, South Africa office. Additionally, you will report directly to the Country Manager of South Africa and will work closely with Marketing, Finance and Origins (Namibia), among others.
