About this Founding Enterprise Sales Executive role at Andromeda Robotics
The Bigger Picture
At Andromeda, we're building the social intelligence layer for humanoid robots - technology that allows robots to understand people, build relationships and become a meaningful part of everyday life.
Our first robot, Abi, is already doing this in aged care and healthcare, where she brings conversation, companionship and engagement to people every day.
Now we're scaling from early deployments into a platform that can operate across thousands of real-world environments. We're looking for individuals who want to tackle hard problems across robotics and AI, and help define what it means for robots to live and interact alongside people.
The Role
You'll be our sole U.S. salesperson: a hands-on individual contributor with no direct reports, selling directly to senior living operators and owning every deal. As the U.S. business grows, the role could grow into leading our commercial efforts and building the go-to-market team.
About 80% of your time goes to selling, from local Bay Area outreach to 40–50% travel for client visits, on-site demos and U.S. industry conferences. The other 20% is being our "eyes and ears" in the U.S. market, feeding operational feedback to Product and Engineering. The role is hybrid: when you're not traveling, you'll work from our San Francisco office.
This role is for you if you love the chaos of early-stage startups, can make a physical product shine in front of skeptical stakeholders, and know how to turn a single-facility pilot into a multi-site rollout.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Full-Cycle Sales: Own the U.S. pipeline, from cold outreach and C-suite engagement to complex, multi-stakeholder closes.
- Target Regional & Multi-Site Operators: Focus on regional senior living operators (Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and CCRC groups), building consensus with COOs, VPs of Operations and Clinical Directors.
- Run High-Impact Demos: Lead live hardware demos that show both operational efficiency and labor relief, and a better experience for residents and staff.
- Navigate Complex Decision-Making Units: Balance financial ROI for CFOs, clinical safety and well-being for Nursing/Care VPs, and workflow fit for Executive Directors.
- Shape the U.S. Playbook: Help define U.S. packaging, pricing and pilot frameworks based on real-world feedback.
- Partner on Deployment and Early Customer Success: Support pilot kickoffs and early deployments with Customer Success and Product/Engineering, capture feedback, and hand off ongoing support to Customer Success.
- Sales Operations: Keep CRM records and pipeline accurate; report weekly against agreed commercial KPIs.
Requirements
- Track Record of Enterprise "Hustle": 5+ years closing B2B enterprise deals, ideally selling innovative technology, workflow automation or specialized hardware into senior living, healthcare or complex operational environments. Startup experience is strongly preferred.
- New Market Builder: Experience opening a new market or territory and winning first customers without an established brand or pipeline behind you.
- Senior Living Industry Fluency (Preferred): You understand how regional operators work, what keeps their COOs up at night (labor shortages, staff turnover, margins) and how they make decisions. Existing operator relationships are a big plus.
- Physical Product & Demo Comfort: You're not just a slide-deck seller. You're comfortable traveling to facilities, handling hardware logistics and leading live demos.
- "Land and Expand" Mindset: Proven ability to turn a single-site proof of concept into a multi-facility rollout.
- Startup DNA: Comfortable with ambiguity, lean resources and high autonomy, and ready to do whatever it takes to win our first U.S. logos.
- Growth Mindset: Happy to be a hands-on, sole seller today, with the ambition to grow with the company. Interest in later helping build a U.S. sales team is a plus.
- Cross-Geography Collaboration: Disciplined with remote and async work, and able to keep momentum with our Australia-based team.
Benefits
- Ground-floor opportunity to shape the commercial trajectory of a cutting-edge humanoid robotics company in the US
- Meaningful equity ownership as an early commercial team member.
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure.
- Direct line to the executive and product teams.
The expected base salary range for this role is $160-200k USD + Equity + Bonus + Benefits. Actual compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
