What is an Expert Service Delivery Engineer?

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end service delivery and provisioning of A2P, M2M & IoT, and other Digital & Smart Solutions, ensuring smooth execution, adherence to defined TATs and SLAs, quality standards, and customer requirements.

The role involves close coordination with internal stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and sales channels to ensure timely provisioning, implementation, activation, and delivery of services

The role reports directly to the Head of Delivery (Connectivity & Smart Solutions) and has 0 person reporting directly into it.

What does an Expert Service Delivery Engineer do?

• Manage end-to-end provisioning and service delivery activities for A2P, M2M & IoT, and other Digital & Smart Solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Sales, Product, IT, Core Network, Billing, Operations, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
• Handle provisioning and implementation of A2P services, including coordination for sender IDs, connectivity, configurations, testing, and service activation.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of M2M & IoT solutions, including SIM/service provisioning, APN configuration, device connectivity, testing, and customer handover.
• Act as the main point of contact for Sales channels for service delivery-related matters, providing regular updates, resolving operational concerns, and managing internal/external customer expectations.
• Identify process gaps and provide recommendations for improving provisioning, delivery, and operational workflows.
• Support the onboarding and testing of new products and services to assess technical and operational viability before rollout.
• Ensure proper customer handover and closure of delivery activities after successful provisioning, testing, and confirmation of service readiness.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be an Expert Service Delivery Engineer?

• We strongly aim at recruiting a team member with good hands on experience in Service Delivery, Provisioning of Digital Solutions, M2M & IoT, or a related field.
• Experience in M2M & IoT service delivery, provisioning, connectivity, SIM management, APN configuration, and customer deployments.
• Experience with Digital & Smart Solutions such as vPABX, P2A, A2P, PABX, Cell Tracking, or similar telecom/digital solutions would be preferred.
• Should have the ability to understand technical solution requirements and coordinate their implementation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• He must demonstrate good presentation, communication, coordination, and analytical skills and be fluent in English & Urdu.
• Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
• He/she should have demonstrated ability to manage multiple service delivery activities, prioritize tasks, track TATs/SLAs, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver services within defined timelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery and resolution of operational issues.
