About this Engineer - Costing role at Freudenberg Group

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily product costing and cost analysis for sales, service, offers, and production orders across assigned manufacturing plants.
- Monitor and analyze product costs to identify cost variances, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Sales, Procurement, and Master Data teams to ensure accurate product costing and master data quality.
- Prepare periodic and annual Standard Cost Calculations in accordance with company policies and financial reporting requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end costing activities and ensure timely completion of cost-related tasks.
- Calculate and maintain intercompany pricing for products and services.
- Analyze, track, reconcile, and confirm intercompany transactions.
- Provide costing analysis and financial insights to Finance Managers and business stakeholders.
- Support the Global Cost Management Team by participating in global costing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, Work Centers, and other costing master data.
- Investigate and resolve costing discrepancies, material variances, and production cost issues.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations related to product costing and manufacturing performance.
- Support implementation and optimization of costing processes within SAP S/4HANA.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and applicable laws.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in Cost Accounting or Finance are an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, product costing, or manufacturing finance.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Exposure to multinational manufacturing operations is an added advantage.
- Technical or engineering background is considered a plus.
