About this Engagement & Internal Communications Internship (12 months) role at Ogury
Ogury is a global adtech company powered by Persona Intelligence, its proprietary technology that enables brands and agencies to activate consistent persona-based strategies across channels and drive measurable brand outcomes.
Founded in 2014, Ogury operates in 18 countries with over 400 employees worldwide.
About the Role
Are you a proactive self-starter passionate about shaping workplace culture, amplifying employer branding, and driving meaningful employee engagement?
We are seeking a highly motivated People and Culture Intern to join our team for 12 months, based in our Barcelona office. Reporting directly to the Senior Director for Culture and Learning, you will play a central role in connecting our people to our culture—from how we showcase our employer brand to the outside world, to how our employees engage, grow, perform, and get recognized.
This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on, cross-functional experience in a fast-paced global tech environment. You will sit at the intersection of employee engagement, performance management coordination, and employer value proposition (EVP), helping us connect, support, and celebrate our people across 18 countries.
Why you'll love this role
Support Internal Communications: Craft engaging announcements, manage main communication channels, and keep 400+ Ogurians globally informed and connected.
Shape the Employee Journey: Work on initiatives that touch critical moments of the employee lifecycle—from amplifying our internal culture and employer brand to driving performance and recognition programs.
Own Visible Flagship Programs: Step beyond a support role to take direct ownership of established global recognition programs and internal communication channels from day one.
Build AI Fluency: Leverage modern AI tools (like Gemini and Claude) to draft communications, analyze survey data, build toolkits, and streamline manual workflows, building future-proof productivity skills.
Global Exposure: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, managers, and employee champions worldwide, directly impacting how Ogurians experience work every day.
What you will be doing
1. Internal Comms, EVP & Storytelling
Internal Comms & Strategy: Draft, schedule, and execute clear, engaging internal communications (Slack updates, cultural announcements, and company updates) to build community, align teams, and keep global employees informed.
Content Creation & Storytelling: Bring our culture to life by creating compelling content for internal and external employer branding channels, including writing employee spotlights and success stories.
Central Channel Management: Serve as primary channel manager for central culture and engagement Slack channels—curating daily connection, maintaining brand tone, and serving as the broadcasting platform for cross-functional initiatives (including ESG, DEI, and wellbeing campaigns).
EVP Source Repository: Manage and maintain our central repository of culture, branding, and employee stories, ensuring our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) is consistently represented across all touchpoints.
2. Employee Engagement & Values Recognition
Survey Administration & Analytics: Manage the end-to-end logistics of global employee engagement surveys—from launching surveys and tracking participation to generating insightful summaries for leaders.
Action Plan Tracking: Maintain our central engagement tracker, actively monitoring progress and partnering with managers to support follow-through on team action plans.
Values & Peer Recognition: Actively coordinate our peer-to-peer recognition programs (such as core-values awards, spot recognition, and departmental spotlights)—from managing nomination cycles and marketing them internally to tracking participation.
3. Performance Management Coordination
Process Tracking & Reporting: Monitor company-wide completion rates during critical performance cycles (goal-setting, mid-year, and end-of-year reviews), analyzing trends to keep stakeholders updated.
Comms & Support: Design and send clear, timely communication campaigns, guidelines, and reminders to managers and employees throughout review cycles.
Resource & Toolkit Creation: Build, update, and maintain user-friendly FAQs, manager toolkits, and central resource hubs on internal channels to make performance processes transparent and seamless.
