Job Description Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the installation, loop checking, calibration, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Job Description:
- Oversee loop checking, calibration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of new and existing electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure all electrical and instrumentation activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, IEC, National Electrical Code, PUIL, and company HSE requirements).
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and instrumentation equipment, control systems, and plant utilities to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and operational safety.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, technicians, and project teams during maintenance, shutdown, and commissioning activities.
- Develop, review, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Prepare work programs, maintenance plans, technical documentation, and reports using SAP.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and maintenance activities while meeting quality, safety, and operational targets.
- Mentor, coach, and train junior engineers and technicians to strengthen technical competency and team capability.
- Support emergency breakdown and provide technical assistance outside regular working hours when required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) within manufacturing or process industries.
- Familiar with relevant safety standards and regulations (OSHA, IEC, PUIL, K3 Listrik, etc.).
- Experience using SAP for maintenance planning and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
