Role Overview
Coupang Taiwan is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead pricing products and capabilities that help customers consistently find competitive prices while enabling sustainable business growth.
This role will own key pricing products and work closely with Retail, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, Catalog, Promotions, and Operations teams to improve pricing competitiveness across millions of products. The successful candidate will help define Taiwan's long-term pricing strategy and build scalable systems that support intelligent pricing decisions at scale.
The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise, deep pricing knowledge, and the ability to influence business strategy across multiple stakeholder groups.
What You Will Do
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Taiwan Pricing
- Define pricing products and capabilities that improve customer price competitiveness while balancing business objectives
- Lead initiatives focused on competitive price monitoring, product matching, price benchmarking, and pricing automation
- Partner with Retail, Finance, Catalog, Promotions, Engineering, Operations, and Data Science teams to develop scalable pricing solutions
- Establish pricing frameworks, business rules, and mechanisms that enable effective decision-making across the organization
- Define success metrics and continuously improve pricing outcomes through data analysis and experimentation
- Drive large cross-functional programs that require alignment across multiple business and technology teams
- Influence senior leadership through business cases, strategic recommendations, and data-driven insights
- Develop pricing capabilities that support Coupang Taiwan's long-term growth strategy
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of Product Management experience
- Experience managing pricing, marketplace, revenue optimization, promotions, retail systems, advertising platforms, or related products
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Business, and Operations teams
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make product decisions using data
- Strong business acumen and understanding of pricing, customer behavior, and commercial tradeoffs
- Experience driving measurable business impact through product innovation
- Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience owning Pricing products at large-scale technology companies
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, retail technology, revenue management, or pricing optimization
- Experience working with Data Science and Machine Learning teams
- Experience building large-scale platforms used across multiple business functions
- Experience working in highly ambiguous and fast-growing environments
- Mandarin language proficiency
- Familiarity with Taiwan consumers and market dynamics
