Job Role: Digital Marketing & Operations Specialist
Compensation range: $2500 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: The client is an established, proudly Australian-owned business that has spent years supplying furniture, resources, and equipment to early learning centres across the country. Beyond supplying products, they offer an end-to-end design service for new and existing centres, working closely with owners, directors, and educators to bring their vision to life. Role Overview: We are seeking a technically capable and detail-oriented Digital Marketing & Operations Specialist to provide the operational and digital support that underpins the client's marketing team. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in managing HubSpot, maintaining WordPress websites, building and supporting marketing campaigns, managing reporting, and helping generate leads through digital channels.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of marketing, technology and operations — someone who loves building systems, solving problems, improving processes, and helping turn marketing plans into reality.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Automation
- Manage and maintain HubSpot and related marketing systems
- Build and maintain workflows, forms, landing pages and email campaigns
- Support customer journeys, lead nurturing and marketing automation
- Maintain CRM data quality, segmentation and reporting
- Support campaign setup, tracking and performance measurement
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes and operational efficiency
Website & Digital Platforms
- Maintain and update WordPress websites
- Publish website content, blogs, landing pages and resources
- Work with the product team to support content updates and product publishing
- Support website improvements and user experience initiatives
- Ensure digital content remains accurate, current and aligned to campaign priorities
Lead Generation & Digital Performance
- Support lead generation activities across paid, organic and owned channels
- Support account-based marketing initiatives through audience segmentation, campaign setup, lead nurturing and performance reporting
- Assist with campaign tracking, attribution and conversion reporting
- Implement SEO recommendations and website optimisation activities
- Support paid media administration and performance monitoring
- Produce performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements
Essential
- 5+ years experience in digital marketing, marketing operations or marketing automation
- Strong hands-on HubSpot experience — workflows, forms, automation, reporting and CRM management
- Experience managing WordPress websites
- Knowledge of email marketing and marketing automation
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals
- Experience supporting digital campaigns and lead generation activities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment
Desirable
- Experience with Google Ads or other paid media platforms
- Experience supporting B2B marketing teams
- Experience working with or for Australian businesses
- Knowledge of conversion tracking and attribution
What Success Looks Like
After 12 months, you will be a trusted member of the marketing team — helping deliver a well-organised, data-driven marketing function. You will have improved the way campaigns are executed, ensured HubSpot is being used effectively, kept the websites current, and provided the reporting and operational support the business needs to grow.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
