What you will do:

L’équipe culinaire des cinémas VIP de Cineplex fait partie intégrante des équipes qui s’engagent à offrir une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle à chaque client. Les membres du personnel en cuisine sont passionnés de gastronomie et mettent leur expérience à profit pour offrir des plats raffinés et des soirées agréables aux invités.

À ce titre, vos principales responsabilités seront les suivantes :

• Organiser les produits alimentaires dans les garde-manger et bien préparer les postes de friture et autres postes de travail de la cuisine en fonction des besoins du jour.
• Respecter les recettes, les portions prédéterminées et la présentation requise selon les directives en vigueur.  
• Réapprovisionner tous les produits durant votre quart de travail.
• Nettoyer, désinfecter et organiser la cuisine, les chambres froides et les lieux d’entreposage.
• Respecter les réglementations en matière de santé et de sécurité, notamment en ce qui concerne les pathogènes transmissibles par le sang, les infections, l’utilisation de matières dangereuses et la sécurité-incendie. 

Qualifications requises :

• Vous détenez un diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent.
• Vous avez de l’expérience dans un environnement similaire.

• Vous êtes en mesure de travailler selon des horaires variables et pendant des heures prolongées.

Cineplex’s VIP Kitchen Staff are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. Our kitchen staff members are passionate about food and hospitality and look to bring their experience towards providing an intimate and sophisticated night out through their food preparation.     

In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

• Daily set-up and preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.  
• Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as instructed.  
• Restocking all items throughout the shift.  
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.  
• Adhering to all regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials and fire safety.  

Qualifications: 

Cineplex’s VIP Theatre may be a perfect fit for you if:  

• You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent 
• You have experience in a similar environment.  
• You have knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation and principles of safe food handling.  
• You have schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required. 
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are a proven problem solver.
